The frames
Is the LEGO® model included?
No. Our frames are made to hold models you already own or are about to buy. The models in our photos are for display only. If you want the set built for you first, our partner Brickwright builds genuine LEGO® sets by hand.
Do I need glue?
No. Models clip into the frame without glue, behind an acrylic front that keeps them dust-free. You can take them out whenever you like.
What is the difference between Classic and Premium?
Classic is a slimline brushed aluminium frame. Premium is a thick moulded profile in matte black. Not every frame comes in both. Ranges and sizes.
Will my set fit?
Search the fit guide by series or by set number. Technic frames are cut for one specific set, so check the set number before you order.
Are you part of the LEGO Group?
No. DF Studios is an independent business. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site.
Ordering and delivery
How long does it take?
Every frame is made to order. Most listed frames ship in about 5 to 7 working days and custom frames in about 14. Courier transit is usually 2 to 4 working days to main centres. Checkout shows the earliest dispatch date before you pay.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in South Africa, by insured courier. Delivery is free on most orders of R2 500 or more. Collection from Sheffield Beach is free by arrangement. We do not ship outside South Africa at the moment.
How do I pay?
By card, Instant EFT, SnapScan or Zapper through PayFast, or by manual EFT. Manual EFT orders are held for 3 working days while the payment reflects, and we start once it has.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email a photo to dfstudios88@gmail.com as soon as you can after delivery. We repair, replace or refund at no cost to you.

Custom and bulk orders
Can you make a frame for a set you do not list?
Yes. Send a request with the set number or a description and measurements. We email a drawing and a price before we start.
Do you frame MOCs?
Yes. Our custom frame is made to measure for MOCs and mixed collections.
Do you take bulk or corporate orders?
Yes, for clubs, dealerships and offices. Send a request with the quantity and we quote by email.
